Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Disney Musicals Cast and Crew will be taking their skills to the big stage in 3 weeks! Students will perform the Lion King Kids performance in front of our community in June.
The cultural presentation will bring the colors and sounds of Africa to life, allowing students to learn the authentic nature and diversity of the culture.
Students will perform in authentic "Dashiki" patterns to accurately enhance the Lion King presentation. This project will engage them through arts integration and STEAM and stimulate their love of literature, arts, music and technology.
The vision of our program goes beyond our current financial abilities. Donating to this project, ensures that the authenticity of the arts is upheld and maintained. These items will allow students to perform and represent the culture in a superb manner.
