My students are working so hard on learning to read and write so many words. LCD boards will help us sound out and spell all those new words. We will use them every day for mess free writing and instant erasing of all those new phonemes and words. Decodable books will practice our phonics and increase our fluency. Becoming a reader and writer is empowering and so exciting. Nothing is better that a first grader shouting out, “I can read this!” Please, help me provide that joy to my class.
