My Students
The students in my 7th and 8th grade Social Studies classes are fascinated by history and current events. They are energetic, inquisitive and thirsty for knowledge.
I teach at a Title I school in Philadelphia where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students do not have the resources that they deserve and need in the classroom. They love using technology and various materials that allow them to be immersed in the topics they are learning.
My Project
These materials will give my students the opportunity to share their school spirit with the entire school. We recently got a Cricut for the classroom and we have been using it non stop. We will be using the Chromebook to design the layouts and research what we want to create. We need the keyboard covers to make sure we keep our technology clean and protected. We need more fonts and vinyl paper to create t-shirts and posters to show how much we love our school. Lastly we need markers, erasers, and printer ink to make our designs come to life.
My students are very creative and independent, they want to be able to create t-shirts and posters to showcase their school spirit before they graduate.
The materials will benefit the entire school and will be available to any class that wants to create a project to show their school spirit.
