This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I public charter school that primarily serves a lower socioeconomic population with a lot of English Language Learners. There are many more difficulties a majority of our students experience on a day-to-day basis than in some other schools.

Our school's mission is to create students who will be college and career ready with cross-cultural competence when they leave here.

For many students, they will be the first generation in their family to go to college.

My Project

Our school and my classroom supporters have blessed us with some wonderful new hockey equipment. However, we do not have a good way to store it.

These hockey storage bags will allow my students to keep the equipment safe.

They will be able to store and transport our equipment for our after school club so much easier with these bags.

Additionally, we could use more floor hockey balls and our after school football team is looking to implement play call wristbands into our team. The play call wristbands will enhance our preparation in our quest for a league championship victory!
