This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach students with Special needs, primarily with Autism. Some of my kids are non verbal but this does not mean that they have nothing to say. This just means that they need other means that will allow them to express themselves. Certain apps cater to these needs but before we can download any apps we need a device to download it onto. That’s where your donation comes in. It doesn’t stop there. I plan to also use it to download games that will target my students learning goals. Let’s face it, everything is funner on an iPad. :)
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
