My Project

This program is focused on teaching English Learners at a low income school who have been impacted by COVID and low income disadvantages such us food insecurity, significant loss of learning and lack of support. In this program we will focus on healthy eating. We will include how to choose healthy snacks, what our bodies need to grow strong, how to start a small garden and preparing simple healthy snacks for our family. Plus reading leveled books about nutrition, gardening, cooking and STEAM projects to create an integrated curriculum for their mind, bodies and spirits.
