Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When students have the right supplies to write, and calming environment it makes school less stressful. Writing is one thing that stresses out a lot of fifth grade students. Fifth grade has to test on writing for end of levels making them the most tested grade in elementary school.
Writing should be fun and I want to take the stress out of the writing process.
When students have a calm place to do hard things it takes away from the stress. The last thing kids should have to do is worry about end of levels so I want to motivate them.
The supplies I have selected allow students to have a fun environment and the ability to organize their writing and their desk space. They will also have a variety of prizes to help with kieeping them motivated to engage in the writing process.
