We Encourage Movement and Want to Support Our Wigglers
My students need alternative seating. We do have some kids who need movement in their lives and these stools will help them stay regulated during class. It will be helpful with all students!

My Students
We call our school "The Rainbow Unicorn Bubble," for our students love our school and we sincerely love them back. Being a cooperative school and inviting parent input and participation helps to make us a strong community but I believe it is the time we take teaching a social-emotional curriculum that really makes us strong. Our students can advocate for themselves and are accepting of others, creating an environment where students can be creative and their true selves. Kids learn the skills to work together, collaborate and advocate, the real world skills that are very often missed in textbook curriculum. Our constructivist (hands-on) model allows the kids to follow their passions and learn through experience.
We give our students the opportunity to be themselves and learn in authentic ways; we are the school I wish I had gone to.
My Project
These stools will help support all students but especially the kids who are in need of movement to regulate themselves during their school days. I envision these being used daily in the classrooms by all students who are seeking sensory input. Our school is committed to meeting the needs of all kids and we have a significant population of students who need to wiggle.
We are working so hard to meet the needs of all students and these stools can greatly improve our classrooms.
