"Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable.... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals." ~Martin Luther King, Jr
My school is a challenging campus as we draw from a variety of socioeconomic and ethnically diverse groups.
On my campus there are a large number of students who will be first-time, college bound students--some of them first time, high school graduates in their families! What a tribute to their families! My students have the drive to learn, to achieve, and to succeed enough to get them into college. All they need to succeed is dedication along with a guide to help them learn how to study, how to be proud of their work and have confidence in themselves!
My Project
I love my students but none of us want to share each others germs! I want my students to be as healthly has possible all school year long. Germs are everywhere and we want them to go away as much as possible! All of the materials requested in this project will promote health and wellness with all of my students.
The Kleenex will be used by all of the students everyday during the school year especially during flu and allergy season.
My students have the habit of wiping their hands on their sleeves or pants when they sneeze, spreading germs to other students. They need to have hand sanitizer for their hands to stop the spread of germs when they touch the desks and books during class.
