My little learners use books daily! From the moment they walk into the classroom while they are waiting for their friends, they grab a book. The best part of my day is watching them look at the pages and pretend to read their books and/or nursery rhymes. Their little minds are filled with imagination and their interpretations of the illustrations on each page are mind-blowing. Instead of me reading to them I ask them to read to me. By having a library filled with books, I hope they will continue to read and never lose their love for books.
The letter tubs would encourage them to explore letters and objects associated with that sound.
These will help build the skills they will need later on to read!
