Our school is in a rural town of North Carolina. It is an extremely diverse school, both economically and racially. Our school has a strong emphasis on exposing our students to real world examples of the material that we learn. My classrooms goals are to increase my students enjoyment of science and prepare them for college classes.
This year has taken a toll on our operating budget. Even the essential supplies are running out, and we don't have the ability to buy more. Printer ink is one of the hardest hit commodities.
A pencil sharpener would be awesome to have as well. Currently, I have to send students to other teachers to sharpen their pencils.
Your donation will purchase ink for the science department printers. Our students will once again be able to print off the projects that they complete. This will also enable us to print off notes and extra materials for students who missed school or need extra support.
This seems like a very simple and unexciting request, but your donations will be greatly appreciated and used daily.
