This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our community we serve 600 students within the South Phoenix, Arizona area. Our teachers go above and beyond to make sure each student is loved and has whatever they need to be successful.
Currently, we do not have a space where teachers can go and recharge.
Students deserve teacher's 'best' and not 'what is left'. These items will create a space for our teachers to unwind and recharge. Teachers will have access to comfy seating, motivational posters and microwaves to heat their lunches up. This room will help our teachers give their best to our students!
