Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade students love working together and being creative in groups. They use crayons every day for their writing and illustrations, but unfortunately, the crayons often break or become misshapen. Having new, quality crayons would greatly support their work.

Additionally, my students would benefit from a shared writing board where they can all have the opportunity to write, display their work, and track their progress in writing.

As dual language learners, they put in double the effort to write in both Spanish and English, and having the right tools makes a big difference in their learning journey.
