My Students

Kindergarten is where learning and play comes together! My Kindergarten students are a playful group that are ready to learn and love to play! Many of my students have not experienced a educational setting and Kindergarten will be their first experience with learning. Other students have not had experiences with educational equipment such as puzzles, crayons, and other learning materials so they will be learning new things and experiencing how to use learning materials. As a teacher, it is important that students are introduced to ways that learning can be playful. Playful learning helps students piece it all together!

My Project

Learning about letters, numbers, and colors are an essential part of Kindergarten. For students entering Kindergarten with little or no previous experience in a learning environment, the transition into a classroom setting can be overwhelming. All Kindergarten age students enjoy playful activities and it is important that students have the opportunity to experience learning that is enjoyable and playful. Having instructional materials, such as puzzles, can help kindergarten students successfully transition into learning by incorporating letters, colors, and numbers into an activity that is playful and fun. The donations provided will allow my Kindergarten students to successfully learn while piecing the puzzles together!
