My Project
I teach a great bunch of preschoolers who all have been diagnosed with Autism. We spend time playing matching games and reading adapted books. We use a lot of velcro dots and laminating sheets to differentiate learning. We have to have durable items so students can interact with the games and matching folders.
Students with Autism need differentiated materials for effective learning.
I try to create materials that meet all of my students at their levels with matching games that allow them to express their knowledge.
I also included pom poms for matching and crafts. Some of my students have sensory issues and enjoy playing with pom poms.
