it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students and I are in a challenging time, like most students in our country now! I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, where our students encounter many different challenges, both in and out of the classroom.
I teach a third grade bilingual class in a Title I school in Houston, Texas.
My students come from low-income families and have diverse learning styles. I am committed to creating an environment where all of my students feel engaged and focused during their learning and have minimal distractions. I want to provide all of my students with the best tools possible to keep them engaged and focused while learning at home.
My Project
With the appropriate technology, my students will be engaged and participate while listening to me during our online classes.
The products on my list will help my students to have a more effective virtual learning experience.
The earphones with microphone are so each of my students can participate and have a better sound while doing the lessons virtually. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that get distracted easily, especially while having their sibling or home distractors so close! The camera will help make a more clear view of my home classroom and later for making videos and sharing in class ( My computer is old and has a terrible camera!). The drawing pad will serve to write on the screen because my computer doesn't have this feature. I have seen how my students can positively get engaged during their virtual learning while they are at home.
