We Can Do It! Projects and Tutoring for EL Students

Help me give my students afterschool tutoring and enrichment supplies for confidence building.

My Project

These items include Reader's Theater, Complex Thinking Games, Creative Beading Math Projects, and high-interest books for an afters school program for EL students. These students experienced a huge lapse in their education during COVID -19 including limited access to technology, non-English speaking households, and lack of adult academic support that has led to a disadvantage to keep up with grade level work and testing requirements. These projects will encourage reading, English language acquisition, fluency, self esteem and group work.These students come from low income families who have food insecurity so healthy snacks will be included.
