We are part of the school that C.A.R.E.S. and we are an amazing bunch! My students have a stellar sense of humor, are compassionate, demonstrate perseverance every day, and always end our day with a smile! Being a Title I school, many of my students do not have access to computers at home.
Technology is an integral part of our world today, and I want to give my students the same opportunities as other children.
I strive to afford my students the opportunity to be as successful as possible in the learning environment that I provide for them, and I believe that iPads will absolutely foster their success.
My Project
With the addition of iPads into our classroom, we will be one of the only classrooms in the school that has access to such technology. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher level learning.Some of the apps that we will use in our classroom include iReady, Imagine Learning and Raz-Kids.The iPads will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in our classroom as well as build twenty first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world.
