Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an inquisitive group of third graders in an inner-city public school in Arizona that was hard hit by COVID-19 and the kids were learning from home for 18 months.

Online learning was difficult and we are working hard to overcome the effects that COVID-19 had on their learning.

These Geoboards and whiteboards will help them to show their thinking, and me to quickly see where they need help! In addition, they will increase engagement and can be used to facilitate collaboration, talking about their mathematical thinking, and remind us that "We can do hard things!"
