Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students do not have enough art supplies. They need markers, glue, and crayons to make their projects. My class likes to incorporate art with their writing and research. This helps them with fine motor skills which are lacking due to computers. It also fosters a love for art.
When their is no art for kids, then you do not produce artists.
I believe in giving students an opportunity to find their talent. This means giving them a variety of assignments and while doing so, sprinkling in art. They enjoy using markers, crayons, and glue to enhance their work. These items are are not too messy and make it quicker to accomplish their work. They are very excited about getting new art supplies.
