My Students

Have you ever tried sharing a computer screen with a group of people and everyone started saying, "Tilt the screen towards me!" Imagine hearing that from 21 children eager to learn! I have lots of resources to share on my computer but it is difficult for everyone to see them.

My students are first graders and attend an inner city school in New York.

They are a very active group who like to keep busy with educational activities. They are quite excited about learning, but we have limited funding and resources within our school. Close to 100% of the students receive free or reduced lunches. To provide them with as much educational support as possible, we have an extended school day. Parental involvement is not always available, but we do our best as teachers to provide our students with an education that continues to foster their love of learning and that will lead them to success.

My Project

I am requesting a Panasonic projector to use on our white board in our classroom. This will allow us to access resources on the Internet, watch educational video clips, and practice basic ELA and math skills projected onto the white board. This projector will make learning more fun and allow me to use various strategies to help all of my students learn.

A Panasonic projector is needed to facilitate my teaching in the classroom.
