Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the sweetest group of fifth graders. They are kind to each other and always work hard to follow classroom expectations. They deserve a special treat - matching class hoodies.
My students are recognized as leaders of our school - matching hoodies will just be one additional way they are recognizable within the school community.
Providing warm sweatshirts to wear during cold winter months will help meet some of my students' basic needs. These sweatshirts meet uniform requirements, while also promoting a sense of self and community identity. This will further support my students' social/emotional needs.
