My Students
My students are so excited about learning!!!! They are so energetic and curious just about everything. Everyday is like an adventure in our classroom. I teach at a Title I school where the students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch. Most are in single family homes and live in high poverty areas.
I have students who learn best when they are actively involved as they play, explore, experiment,and interact with people and objects.
I try and actively engage my students into thinking processes and encourage them to investigate, question and ponder problems.
My Project
Using the Bee-Bot will be an ideal and exciting way to introduce sequencing to my students and helping them understand cause and effect, directional language and early programming. Students can push the buttons on the Bee Bot, press GO and watch as it follows their every command! The STEM stations will help my students build skills independently. The materials and simple picture instructions, can even let nonreaders participate. Students with a hands-on discovery will be able to explore on their own and build and test in a flash! Your donations to this project will help my students gain better access to technology and improve their understanding.
