This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is funding students' writing supplies. Students in 2nd grade are becoming strong readers and writers. With their writing, we have composition notebooks for their everyday writing. However, we also will use notebook paper from time to time to assess them on how well they are answering text dependent questions using the RACE strategy. (Restate, Answer, Cite Evidence, Explain)

The paper in this project will help students to have notebook paper to construct their responses to those text dependent questions.

Additionally, the cardstock paper will be used to print individual anchor charts that students can use at their desks.
