My Project
February 2023 our class will be participating in our school’s annual Black History Program. We will sing a song we have been rehearsing in class . We would love to wear African Attire to support our program.
February is an important month that is nationally know as Black History Month.
It is important to teach young children just how influential African American people have been throughout history ,and exactly what they went through to have their voices heard. Without having February as the month to share stories and tales of all of the historically important African American people of this country and others we would not have some of the most important knowledge that we could ever receive. Our school is thankfully teaching the rich history of African-American culture and values and we would be honored to wear our African Attire supporting Black History Month.
