Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We've made it! It's time to celebrate our student accomplishments. Our students were challenged to read 40 online books, and they have done so. We have promised them a celebration that they will not forget. Many of our students do not have devices. Some do not have internet, but they worked hard to complete this challenge.
It is important to celebrate student's accomplishments, because it helps build student confidence, self-esteem, and it helps our students want to achieve more.
We will have lunch, cake and ice cream. Students will receive a medallion to show that READERS ARE LEADERS, and each student will receive an overflowing party bag. We will have music and dancing, and lots of balloon, and door prizes. So far, there are 150 students invited to the Reading party. We will continue to celebrate our students as we stock our shelves with supplies that help to showcase their diverse creativy! Thank you in advance.
