Hello My name is Ms. Kitching and I work in Gary Indiana. My hope and dreams is to give my students opportunities that I didn't have. Last year we was hit with covid-19 and students had to learn online. This year I am able to teach in the classroom. I want to give my students a safe and welcoming environment to come to. My students are energetic, smart and loving.
My students come from all different backgrounds and I want to make sure I can support all my students needs on all levels.
I want to be able to close gaps in my students as well.
My Project
Due to covid my students last year had to learn at home over the internet. This school year my students are able to come in the classroom and have that one on one connection. They are able to build social skills, have fun learning and have the opportunity to have their gaps in learning closed. These materials will provide them to be able to draw, cut, paste while in the classroom and when they go home. Many of my students are not able to buy school supplies for school so I am hoping and praying that we are able to have supplies for them to use.
