We Are Seeking A Blood Pressure Simulator Arm

My students need this Blood Pressure Arm to practice taking blood pressures.

My Students

This is an amazing Career and Technical Center with wonderful High school age students from lower income district. Our students attend our full time comprehensive school programs because they want to. I teach a Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification program. The students become CNA's and then are able to enter the work force. We need all types of equipment for our class room. We have a simulated hospital room for the students to practice in on a daily basis. All of our equipment is donated and we have used it for many years. Some of our equipment is outdated and non mechanical. I am fairly new to the program and I purchase many things out of my own pocket.

My Project

We are learning how to take vital signs such as pulses, BP, temperature and respiration. This item would be a valuable tool for these kids. It will help to train them accurately. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Our classroom uses all donated equipment and this would be our first

newly purchased learning tool. We teach and train these students to become Nurse Aides and they will be state certified. Activities like this really help to engage student learners.
