My Students

My students are 24 wonderful, loving, full of energy kind of students who truly love learning new things every day. Many of my students come from low-income families. I do my best to give them an advantage in learning in the rigorous curriculum we utilize in our school.

My students come to school ready to learn; they are ambitious, and they work very hard to meet their academic goals.

Students learn in various ways; therefore, I try my best to meet the various needs of all my students. I believe my children should have an opportunity just as students anywhere within or outside the city limits. They are very inquisitive and have a passion and thirst to discover more!

My Project

Students have returned to school and are mandated to wear masks and they feel uncomfortable, isolated, and have a great sense of fear about contracting COVID-19. While the students are eager that we are back in the learning environment, we understand that not all students have access to the designer and stylish mask. I am requesting a Cricut EasyPress 2 machine and accessories so my students can create personalized reusable masks, shirts, and much more to make learning fun and keep materials separate.

Students will be able to show their individualism and should be engaged and excited about learning regardless of the learning platform.

Class unity and school spirit is something we establish throughout the year. Although it is hard to develop relationships, we still meet each day and do the very best we can. These tools will allow students to be proud of their own work make them happy!
