This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Nothing is more powerful or sought after in a classroom than really good books. Books are powerful tools for learning, but, they are also amazing tools used for starting conversations and debates, establishing friendships and connections, discussing feelings and vulnerabilities, and reflecting. Varieties of books are consumed by students on a daily basis as they explore their interests as growing readers. I strive to provide my students with an extensive collection of books and therefore, I am constantly updating our classroom library. In this project, I have selected some of the newest and most popular titles that have been released within recent years.
This project contains a variety of high quality picture books that will captivate students, peak a variety of interests, and aid in providing effective instruction across subject areas.
With titles from award winning authors ranging in topics, there is something for every student in this book collection. With your help I will be able to update my classroom library and put these new books directly in the hands of my very eager readers.
