My Project
Playing with magnetic building tiles can help children develop a variety of skills, including: fine motor skills, creativity, critical thinking, coordination and problem solving.
Most of all magnetic tiles encourage open ended play where children can use their imagination to create their own designs.
Magna-Tiles can help children understand abstract concepts and promote growth in children with developmental delays. It can also be used as a calming down tool when children are feeling overwhelmed.
It is important to teach kindergarten students how to work together. My goal is to encourage collaboration during free play. Using magnetic tiles during free play encourages the students to work together.
