This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students attend a Title 1 school, which means they come from a low income community. We are a kindergarten classroom with many students attending school for the first time. I want to be able to provide them with all the necessary materials they will need. They may be little but they are mighty, they put their best foot forward and never give up no matter what we are learning.
They are such a bright bunch and are always ready to learn despite their personal circumstances.
We are asking for seat sacks to help them organize their materials at their seats and to help show them how to be responsible for keeping everything in one place. The dry erase boards and markers are such a help for my littles to practice letters and sounds in class, they are a great way for them to show me what they have learned. The Teachers pay Teachers gift card will help me access so many more resources for my students that were created specifically by other teachers.
