This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 7th and 8th grade scholars are excited about what Mathematics has to offer. They strive to do their best and love to work in collaborative groups to solve math problems or work on projects. My scholars motivate and support each other throughout the learning process.
Each scholar works to meet their academic potential with support from myself and our team of educators, as well as their peers.
My scholar's love stations! In order to be successful and engaged in learning during stations, they require earbuds. In their technology station, they use a variety of apps. We are specifically using a program called Zearn in math class. This program is scaffolded, contains videos with visuals, examples and detailed explanations.
