My students are energetic, enthusiastic learners. They love technology. My classroom is full of students who learn at many different levels. In order to differentiate learning for my students we use various types of interventions, including small groups. One key component for making this work in the classroom is technology. My students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage in their world.
My Project
We are excited 2nd graders! Thousands of free online books are waiting for us to discover, and we need more headphones so that we can be listening and focused! Our classroom received a set of brand new iPads and we are excited to be using them. The keypads are in place and the apps have been loaded. However, we do not have enough durable headphones for each student to use. This means that we have to share a set of headphones for every two students. I would like to be able to have each student have their own headphones so I can limit the spread of germs and keep my students healthy!
