This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are incredibly bright and have an enormous capacity to learn, to work diligently, and to succeed! I wish to match their incredible efforts with the best possible resources here in our learning community. At this time, when critical thinking is often disregarded in favor of 'alternative facts', my students and I are trying our best each day to promote the crafting of logical claims and the citation of relevent evidence. We would be so grateful for your consideration!

My Project

Think for a moment back to when you were eleven or twelve years old. Did you know how to prioritize your time, organize your materials, or set long and short-term goals for yourself? I didn't either! But my students will have a chance to learn and practice habits for a successful life when we bring these books to life in the classroom!

Every child deserves a chance to experience the confidence that comes from setting their own goals, creating a plan, and breaking that plan down into manageable steps.

Together, we'll learn and practice these important life skills. Go sixth graders, GO!
