Help me give my students strong bodies as well as strong minds as we play outside!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Wile's classroom raised $750
This project is fully funded
My Students
I teach in a Title I school. The majority of my students are from low-income backgrounds. Every student in our school receives free breakfast and free lunch due to the overall poverty in our area. My students come from diverse educational and literacy experiences. For most of my students, my classroom provides their first educational experience.
Experiences in kindergarten provide the building blocks for a successful educational career!
Our district is a large one that serves more than 100,000 students on a budget that is very thin. These students are eager to learn and ready to blossom into lifelong learners! I am searching to provide those tools for my students!
My Project
This project is being written to supply our entire kindergarten team of 80 students storage carts to hold and carry our recess equipment outside for their daily recess.
Early childhood requires building our large motor skills as well as our fine motor skills and minds to enhance the learning of the whole child!
We have four kindergarten classes in our school that have recess outdoors daily to promote exercise and large motor skill development. We rotate weekly on two different recess fields. We need these carts to transport our outdoor equipment to these fields on a daily basis. These carts will provide a way to keep our equipment organized and promote responsibility amongst our students as they learn to care for this equipment.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
