This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Introducing new instruments into our music education program can make a significant difference in our students' learning in several ways. Incorporating new instruments can thus have a transformative impact on my students' musical development, creativity, collaboration, and personal growth, laying the foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and achievement.

With these new Instruments my students will collaborate with peers on ensemble music, such as duets, trios, quartets, or bands, to develop listening skills, ensemble playing, and musical sensitivity.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, bringing a rich tapestry of perspectives, cultures, and musical traditions to our classroom. Embracing this diversity fosters a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where students can learn from each other, broaden their musical horizons, and appreciate the beauty of cultural exchange.
