My Project
My project is called We Are Charged Up for Learning. My classroom has a set of chromebooks and it is very hard to keep all 22 chromebooks fully charged each day. I am reaching out to DonorsChoose to helped my students with a Chromebook station. This item will be essential in my classroom. In the past I would use power-strips and cords and it was very unsafe to have cords everywhere all tangled up.
The Chromebook station will allow each student Chromebook to be put away safely without any cords hanging out.
The Chromebook station will allow students to have a charged chromebook each day to explore online learning. Chromebook caddies will allow for multiple Chromebooks to be charged at that same time, ensuring devices are ready to use when needed. Built-in cord management and individual charging bays prevents tangling and damage to devices and cables. The Chromebook caddies will provide a designated space for Chromebooksa, keeping them organized and easily accessible for my kindergarten class. The next item I would like to provide for my classroom is a set of headphones students can use with their chromebooks. The headphones will help my students focus on their work and block out distractions from other students in the room.
The headphones can also allow students to listen to educational content at their own pace, and rewind or pause as needed to better understand the material. When student listen through headphones it cuts out external noise which will allow students to focus on what they are learning without distractions from other students.
