My Project
One big part of my job as a Pre-k teacher is to teach about feelings. We learn how to share, express our emotions, and most importantly how to be kind. A book called, "How To Fill A Bucket" is our inspiration. Students fill each other's invisible buckets by using kind words and doing kind acts for each other. Bucket dippers empty their bucket by saying and doing mean things.
We are learning to be BUCKET FILLERS, not dippers!
I will choose one student a week that filled the most buckets. They will receive a small bucket of goodies, a Bucket Filler Badge necklace, and a certificate! I will be purchasing these certificates from Teachers Pay Teachers and printing them! Please help me motivate my students by providing these awesome incentives! I want my students to understand how little acts of kindness can make a huge impact.
