My Project
Everyone knows that grade level reading skills are surprisingly low. Most students in high school read on a 4th grade reading level. The science of reading is helping curriculum writers develop explicit instruction for teaching literacy. Many intermediate age students are missing basic reading skills. The big problem for 3rd-12th grade students who struggle is the teachers have moved on to teaching higher level skills.
These binders and supplies will give each student a place to keep literacy skills, spelling rules, and morphology skills organized and easily found for practice.
My goal is to bridge the gap for struggling readers and give every student an opportunity to overcome reading difficulties.
