We Are Becoming Wonderful Writers!

Help me give my students current culturally responsive resources to become great first grade writers!

My Project

First graders are becoming wonderful writers every day! They are moving from knowing how to write their letters neatly and accurately to combining those letters into words and expressing themselves with their words. They work hard and give their best each day!

This Units of Study kit will give my students access to the newest curricular resources to become strong and expressive writers, skills that they will grow and build on every day and year throughout the rest of their schooling and on into the rest of their lives!

This new set of resources also provides the most up-to-date materials to provide windows, mirrors and doors for all of my students to see themselves in the lessons I will teach, and the books we will read and study. As their teacher, I did a writing workshop institute this summer and am inspired to use the newest and best teaching resources I can to inspire them in their writing! We will be doing amazing writing every day this first grade year!
