This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are extremely dedicated and strive to achieve in each and every way. As you walk through our hallways, and visit our classrooms you hear the voices of determination. We have such an array of diversity that it makes our school very unique.
Our students are the smartest, most creative, passionate, funny and motivated kids in the Bronx.
Our vision is to prepare every student to be academically successful and socially responsible in an ever-changing and unpredictable world.
We strive to provide a safe learning community dedicated to high expectations for every student.
My Project
With your help, my students will be able to transition back into the classroom after almost 2 years of ups and downs. My project will allow for students to have SAFE flexible seating in order to meet their needs while still having meaningful and hands on learning with coding as an option for their learning. Rug squares will allowing my students to have personalized flexible seating while being able to move around the room to learn in spaces they feel most effective. Having this flexibility allows them different options and gives them ownership of their learning.
