My Students
I have 25 students who are from Roxborough, which is an area located in Philadelphia. At our school, we help our students become successful and productive adults, willing to improve the quality of life for the entire community as well as themselves. What I love about my students is how appreciative they are, and how hard they work. My students share that excitement and joy of waiting for and then finally devouring the newest books in their favorite series. My students are inquisitive, voracious readers who are craving to discover the newest adventures in their favorite book series.
They will be so appreciative of the books that are donated to our classroom library.
Books are so important to them, and there is an excitement of reading once Read-A-Loud begins. When they gather on the rug to listen to a story, it is one of the most enjoyable moments of the day. Our classroom library is an essential resource for my students. My students and I kindly thank you for your donation.
My Project
By helping our classroom build up our classroom library, we get excited about reading and my students become better prepared for our future. My students are avid readers and they know what they like to read! A highlight of their week is going to the school library and picking out books that excite them. I would love to provide them with books that they enjoy reading as well as keeping them interested in what they are reading. When they read, they become more engaged in the classroom and it also helps them write better. Our classroom library is the main focus of our room, your generous donation would mean so much to my third graders.
