We Are Art Smart With Digital Books and Sketchbooks!
Help me give my students their own sketchbook to create art in, as well as, digital art books for them to read either in school or at home.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are always excited to start a new art project! Many of them do not have access to art supplies at home, so my classroom is the only place they have that offers them the opportunity to create art using all different materials. Despite their personal hardships, they come to class excited to see what they will create! I love when they tell me that they wish they could come to art everyday and that they love my projects! They become very excited when they are given a choice to choose multiple materials, and painting is everyone’s favorite! They are amazing artists with very creative ideas and imaginations!
My Project
This is a school year like none other. Students are entering the school building uncertain as to what school will be like this year. We are participating in a hybrid model, where students spend 2 days in school and 3 days learning from home.
The digital books will be a huge help for students, as they cannot access books from my classroom library or share materials with others due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They will also be able to access this material while learning from home.
The books will allow students to learn about different artists and techniques, and the sketchbooks will allow them to save their work all in one place!
