This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students because they are little, future citizens of our community and world, learning to be kind and compassionate.
I love my students because they understand that each one of them is unique, all the while sharing more similarities than differences, enabling many opportunities for unity and celebration.
These materials will make a big difference because representation matters, and this collection of books was carefully selected with that end goal in mind. Our dual language program transcends English and Spanish as we cross into the rich diversity of every child.
