My Students
Currently, in my classroom, I have 18 children. I teach First-Grade at a low income, high needs elementary school in Charlotte, NC. In my class, there are many students that need one on one interaction with a certified special education teacher, and I want to be able to provide that for them. Despite whatever struggles or setbacks that may occur beyond the walls of my classroom, I want my students to know that the interactions and education they receive in my classroom to be encouraging and optimistic. I want them to leave my classroom every day knowing that they matter and the experiences that we have counted towards them having a successful future.
My Project
These materials will help my scholars in and out of the classroom. My students have endured so much over the last few months, and as an educator I would love for them to learn and have lasting memories even though they have struggled through this evolution. The classroom environment rather it be in their homes or the classroom should be filled with fun and exciting learning opportunities for them.
The world is evolving and their precious minds are also evolving.
