This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students walk into my classroom motivated and longing for knowledge every day. They look forward to my quirkiness and enthusiastic lessons. There is nothing more I enjoy in the classroom than to see my students' love for learning.
Children are like wet cement, whatever falls on them makes an impression- Haim Ginott.
My students are a group of 25 enthusiastic and loving second graders. These students have wonderful families that are highly involved in their lives, both at home and at school. I am excited to continue this educational journey with them this school year.
My Project
"Differentiated small group instruction" are powerful words in modern education today. This happens when a teacher sits at a table with a small group of children and teaches explicitely based on each child's learning needs. Providing this kind of instruction is very difficult to do without a place to sit and work. There is no better way of bridging learning gaps than small group instruction. This kidney table will allow me to meet the needs of my students and provide a brighter future for them all. Differentiated small group instruction is where the true magic happens in a primary classroom.
