We AR Reading

Help me give my students Accelerated Reader books on their level and help them meet their reading goals.

My Project

This year, we have decided, as a grade level, to open AR (Accelerated Reader) to all first-grade students to help them experience unfamiliar texts. This experience will help student challenge their reading skills by introducing them to unlearned concepts. We also want to help our students use their interests to select books instead of reading decodable books.

As a newer teacher, I am lacking grade-level texts for AR that meet the level 1 requirement of my students.

By funding this project, you will help me expand the titles in my library that meet this level. I want to make sure their interests are met so that they will be excited to read daily.
