My students need to have great books they can take home and read to their parents!
My students live in a high poverty area of Washington State.
Many of my families speak a language other than English at home. They need to feel connected to school and learning to love reading. My kids need favorite books they can take home to read to their families.
My Project
These books are perfect for reading at home to parents! Mo Willems is our classroom favorite author! These books are in English and Spanish, and will be perfect for engaging families in reading. I chose multiple copies of the best books by Mo Willems.
Reading at home is so important to involving families in reading and increasing reading skills.
Kids need to read more at home, and the way to do that is to get families involved!
