My students need a sand and water table and other materials for a sensory area in the classroom to explore and learn about water and sand activities during center time.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember what it was like to just play and explore in the sand and water? My students need the hands on sensory experience of exploring sand and water and what they can do.
My students are preschoolers in a low economics/income area.
The majority of my students are non-English speakers. My students are in an inclusive preschool program; which is both special education students and regular education students together. We are a program that takes lower students and immerses them in a language rich environment to help them prepare and get ready for kindergarten.
My Project
The sand and water table along with the sand and water manipulatives will provide the students with a hands on sensory experience. The students will be able to explore, experiment, discover, and refine their observational skills while enhancing their fine motor skills.

This donation will help them in several preschool academic areas. It will give them a way to explore and learn in a fun way. It will also help them with measuring and weighing.
